RCB Bank with Apple Pay

Make fast, secure and easy purchases with your RCB card using Apple Pay in stores, online and in the apps. Your full card information is never stored on your device or shared when you pay. All RCB Visa debit and credit cards, including corporate ones, are eligible for Apple Pay. Set it up and start making payments on the go.

How to set up

Adding your RCB Visa card to Apple Pay is simple. Just make sure your iPhone, iPad, Μac or Apple Watch is running the most recent iOS by checking “Software update” under “General” section in Settings.

You can add up to 8 cards in one device.

To set up Apple Pay:

Step 1

On iPhone, open the Wallet app and tap the “+” sign. For Apple Watch, open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and select “Wallet & Apple Pay”, then tap “Add Credit or Debit Card”.

On iPad, go to Settings, open “Wallet & Apple Pay”, and select “Add Credit or Debit Card”.

On MacBook Pro with Touch ID, go to System Preferences, select “Wallet & Apple Pay”, then select “Add Card”.

Follow the instructions on the screen to add your RCB Visa card.

Confirm your identity by either entering a One Time Password that will be sent to you or by calling RCB Telephone Banking: +357 25 355 722.

In stores

Use Apple Pay wherever you see one of these symbols:

Payments will come from your default card, which can be changed at any time in Settings.

To pay with Face ID, double-click the side button, glance at your screen, then hold iPhone near the reader.

To pay with Touch ID, hold your iPhone near the reader with your finger on Touch ID.

On Apple Watch, double-click the side button and hold Apple Watch up to the reader.

Ιn apps and on websites

Pay in apps and on websites in Safari with your iPhone and iPad, just select Apple Pay at checkout and complete the payment using Face ID or Touch ID.

Pay on websites in Safari with your Mac. For this, select Apple Pay and complete the payment using your iPhone or Apple Watch. On MacBook Pro, pay using Touch ID on the Touch Bar.

Apple Pay is a safe and secure way to pay, allowing you to set up your eligible personal or corporate RCB Visa debit and credit card(s) on your Apple device(s) to make payments on the go.

Is it secure to pay with Apple Pay?

Your card details are not be stored on your Apple device or sent to merchants, so your card information stays private and secure. Additionally, payments need to be authorised with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode when paying in store with your iPhone or Apple Watch or in-app on your iPhone and iPad.

What devices Apple pay is compatible with?

What do I need to start using Apple Pay?

An eligible RCB Visa debit or credit card (including RCB Visa corporate cards) and a compatible Apple phone or device.

How to set up Apple Pay?

Where can I make a payment?

Apple Pay can be used worldwide at any store displaying the Apple Pay or Contactless logo.

Pay in shops - hold your iPhone near the contactless terminal and confirm the payment using Touch ID or Face ID or your passcode. For Apple Watch, just double-click the side button and hold the display of your device up to the contactless reader.

Pay in-app - using Apple Pay at in-app merchants is also quick and secure. You can pay where you see the ‘Buy with Apple Pay’ or Apple Pay symbols.

NOTE: Do not let anyone, including members of your family to register their passcode, finger print and/or face in your device connected to Apple Pay.

What if my Apple device is lost or stolen?

You must immediately cancel your digital cards either by using Find My iPhone or by calling us on +357 25 355 722.

I have problems setting up Apple Pay. What can I do?

Where can I see my transactions made using Apple Pay?

You can see a record of every payment you’ve made using Apple Pay by checking your RCB Mobile Banking app or RCB Online Banking.

You can also see your last 10 Apple Pay payments, including merchant details, under ‘Transaction history’ in the Wallet app.

Do I need internet connection to make the payment?

No, there is no need to have internet connection when making payment through Apple Pay. However, an active data plan or WIFI connection is needed to register your RCB Visa card in Apple Pay. Based on your mobile plan and mobile network’s offering, additional charges may apply.

How to set up the default card?

Payments are charged to the default card in your Wallet app automatically. It’s easy to change your default card. Simply open the Wallet app and drag the card you want to be the default one down to the front of the Wallet.

How to switch between the cards?

You can choose which card to use when you’re about to pay – just open the Wallet app first and select the card you want to use.

On your Apple Watch, double click the side button, swipe left or right to select a card and present the watch to the contactless reader.

For in-app purchases, select the Apple Pay logo, then 'Cards and billing’ to choose a card.

How do I delete a card from Apple Pay Wallet?

Go to Wallet, tap the card, and tap the (…) information symbol, scroll down the menu until the option Remove This Card.

You can also call the RCB Bank at +357 25 355 722 and deactivate your card.

How many RCB Visa cards I can enrol in Apple Pay Wallet?

For each Apple Pay enabled device you can load up to eight cards. Devices do not share cards, so if you want the same card on two different devices, you need to load the card on each device separately.

Can I use Apple Pay if my Apple device has run out of battery or is turned off?

No, your Apple device must be turned on to perform payments.

I want to pay with my Apple Pay but I also have an rcb2pay (sticker) on my mobile device. Can I have both on the same device?

You will not be able to have rcb2pay (sticker) and the Apple Pay service simultaneously on the same iPhone. Both are contactless payment methods, so during payment at the merchant’s POS Terminal you will not be able to choose with which one to proceed.

If I own a business, how can I accept mobile payments?
