RCB Bank Sponsors the instalment of Interactive whiteboards at the St. Lucas Special School
16.12.2016
RCB Bank has proceeded with covering the costs for the purchase and instalment of interactive whiteboards at the St. Lucas Special School in Limassol. The use of these 11 interactive whiteboards, which will be placed in all the classrooms of the St. Lucas School, aim to upgrade the level of education offered to students with special needs and to enhance the daily program with more interesting, innovative and attractive activities.
It should be noted that the St. Lucas Special School in Limassol hosts 75 students, aged from 6 to 21. The said students are separated for education purposes in 11 groups, hence the need for the instalment of an equal number of interactive whiteboards.
Presenting the cheque covering the total cost of the whiteboards, RCB Bank’s Executive Director Mr. Sotos Zackheos underlined the Bank’s commitment to provide support to such noble causes and noted: “We at RCB Bank are particularly pleased to ensure that the quality and level of education provided to students with special needs is enhanced with our support. The school’s teaching stuff should be applauded for the excellent work they are conducting and we all have a duty to be by the side of parents, teachers and students alike and thus constructively help their efforts”.
