RCB Bank Ltd has offered support to the fund for soldiers in need, in light of the upcoming Easter holidays within the context of the “Tasos Mitsopoulos Ethos and Contribution Awards”, which have been established by the Ministry of Defence in memory of the former Minister of Defence.

The awards are given to soldiers who have been distinguished during the previous year for their ethos and social contribution. This year, four soldiers were awarded, while sixteen others received honorary distinctions.

At his speech, the Minister of Defence, Mr. Savvas Angelides thanked RCB Bank and its Executive Director Mr. Sotos Zackheos for the financial contribution, which will be used as an additional aid to support the fund of the soldiers in need.

Mr. Zackheos, in turn, said that RCB will continue to support such initiatives, noting that Tasos Mitsopoulos was a symbol of ethos and an example for all.
