Contribution to the General Healthcare System

Dear Client,

We would like to inform you that, as per the Law governing the General Healthcare System (GHS), the banks are obliged, as from 1/3/2019, to deduct from the interest on deposits of natural persons, tax residents of Cyprus, a percentage of 1.70% until 28/2/2020 and 2.65% from 1/3/2020 as contribution to GHS. The deduction will be taking place on each interest payment date.
