Announcement to the Users of RCB Online Banking
We would like to advise you that, starting from the fourth quarter of 2011, the remote account access and management service of RCB Online Banking will be delivered via TEMENOS T24, a new high performance platform by the world’s leading supplier of integrated banking software systems.
While migrating to a new system of online banking, all the functionalities of the current system will be preserved. Also, OTP Token technology is planned to be used as an additional method of authentication to enhance online banking security. The OTP token is a compact device, in the shape of a key fob, with LCD and a single button on its front. When the button is pressed, the device generates and displays a one time passcode which is needed to put in to effect online banking authentication.
The Bank’s migration to the new platform and implementation of a new functionality in the 4th quarter of 2011 will bring into force the new General Terms and Conditions of Customer Service, in the part that concerns the use of RCB Online Banking.
You can look up the new General Terms and Conditions of Customer Service on our website at http://www.rcbcy.com/internetbank.htm
You will be notified well in advance of the precise date of switching to the new system. Relevant instructions and documents will be forwarded to you.
Further information about the terms of RCB Online Banking services can be obtained at the Bank’s branches or by phone +357 22376780 (Nicosia), +357 25376780 (Limassol).
